We are turning 100 this year and the State Superintendent, Dr. Chris Koch and the Regional Superintendent, Mrs. Jean Anderson came to our school to celebrate with us! We have had many special events throughout the 2011 – 2012 school year like the Bethel School visit, The 1ooth year picture in the main hallway, a visit by President A. Lincoln, NASA, outdoor education at Soldwedle Park in Pekin, Ill, the time capsule completed by Mrs. Curry’s 3rd grade class and the new tree planted by Mrs. Meeker’s 1st grade class – also including our new Memory Alcove with all the handprints of the teachers and students who were in the building this year.
